Default need tire fitment help...

hey... im 99% positive that im gonna go wiht a set of 2- 18x10.5 and 2-18x9.5 wheels... now im gonna get a 275/35/18 tire for the front but for the back i dont know if i should get 295 - 305- or 315... there isnt that many 305 tires out there so that kind of rules that option out alittlebit... i realy dont want nittos... 295 is playing it safe... but its 315 too big on a 18... my car is lowered probably 1.5 inches i can always roll the 1/4 in for clearance and beat in the inner wheel well... thats not a problem just looking for input onthe 315/30/18 for fitemtn issues.. the rear wheels are +56mm offset i beleive so its right on the border for f-bodies... any picutres of 315's on 18 would help too... thanks

one of my buds on here is running 315s all the way around no problems . i will see if i can find a pic somewhere . your right about 315s are hard to find at a good price . new a good pair is around $800 though they look nice . i am running a 295 pilot sport on my rear 18x10.5 and have no complaints . they lookk wide and they fit well . off topic a bit i was reading the specs on the new skyline how they come stock with 20x10.5 wheels in the back and they run a 285 .

with that offset and BFH you will only be able to run 295`s
unless you have a spacer.

you need a 1/4 inch spacer or 53mm offset. You can run any 315 with that. Tires i have used on those wheels are 315/30 bfg drags 315/30 falken rt-615, 295/35 kdw2s and 305/35 nitto drags....

The widest were the bfg drags and also wore the worst.. i only have pictures of the falkens and theyre not very revealing but here goes.

The falkens appeared to be as wide as the 295 bfgs. And the nittos actually didnt seem to run that small in that size like some people say about the 315/35/17s.

Falkens were the best street tire, bfgs best traction, nittos best compromise.

Youll be fine with a spacer. I got mine from a non-sponsor but found the same thing at advance auto. You dont have to use them on the front and i wouldnt.

thats the best i have of showing you how they line up.
