Default hit 11's today

hey whats up everybody..i ran my car at the track today, the first run of the day i ran an 11.95 @ 113 with a 1.69 sixty foot..i than ran two low 12 sec. runs, and than one more 11.9.. i just installed some comp engineering shocks and took the front sway bar off and it definately made a difference in how the car hooked but i was still having some traction issues with my bfg drag radials..there 3 years old so i guess its time for some new tires haha..so overall i was pretty happy with how the car ran, and i was really happy that the 10 bolt didnt break.

why would the 10bolt break on an A4? They usually dont, if you have decent suspension and no wheel hop.

Nice runs though.

You're kidding right? I've seen quite a few broken 10 bolt on autos not caused by wheelhop. Gears are normally the first thing that breaks. Running aftermarket axles and a girdle helps a bunch but it's no 12-bolt (or 9 inch, etc). Just an FYI...

Congrat's Travis ... hopefully there will come a time when mods/admins can change out titles again ... get some M/T DR's and get some good solid sub-11.9's.

Congrats on breaking into 11s, and yes the 10bolt is on borrowed time. I've broken 5 GM 10bolts in 2 different A4 cars running in the 11's.
