Pacesetter Headers
I am considering buying some longtube pacesetter headers and their y pipe. I am worried though its going to take that low deep rumble that I have now with the hooker catback and make it sound raspy and high pitched? Am I correct? Are these headers worth putting my money into because they seem so much cheaper than everyone elses so I figured I was loosing quality for the price?

I can't wait for our shipment of these headers to arrive, I'm already buying the first set

Re: Pacesetter Headers
Ive been hearing nothing but good things so far except for the 02 sensor locations being messed up every now and then. But can anyone tell me about any of the stuff I said about in the 1st post? Any help is appreciated.

Re: Pacesetter Headers
Every car I have heard that had headers and a Hooker catback, wether they had cats or not sounded great. I bought the Hooker for this reason. Now if the Pacesetter's would just hurry up and arrive.......

Re: Pacesetter Headers
Well I have talked to about 5 or 6 people on the board and this thread had put me a little more at ease that putting the headers and y pipe isnt going to make my car rea loud like a race car and sound like a rednecks truck.

Re: Pacesetter Headers
I ordered my Pacesetters after hearing a sound clip of them. Nothing wrong, IMO. Sounds good. They say mine will arrive in 16-18 days. Let's hope. From what I understand, the backlogs are getting taken care of now and production has increased significiantly.

Re: Pacesetter Headers
Well this may be a real stupid question but arent I going to loose my cats when going with the pacesetter longtubes and y pipe? If so is there anyway to keep my stock cats?
