bolt on questions
ok what is a good set of underdrive pulleys to buy? what is a good brand of ewp not too expensive? and also a good inexpensive set of 1.6rr's and springs? also i found a 58mm tb on ebay for cheap.
with a ewp, pulleys, rr's, springs, and 58mm tb, how much more hp can i expect from all this? im trying to get full bolt on am i missing anything other than a tune?

Agreed, what are your long term plans for the car b/c just throwing bolt-ons at it with no plan is ok, but you may end up kicking yourself later for using cheap parts when you wanna put in a nice head/cam combo or N2O.

yea yea. well some of us couldnt find a 6 speed when they were looking for their car lol! i guess a yank or vig 3200 would be for me. i think i will just go for the csr ewp and underdrive pulleys and forget the tb. i still would like rr's though.

Yes a 3200-3300 stall works perfect with 3.73's and its completely streetable too. is your transmission still the stock transmission that came in the car? Do you have any suspension work done? I pretty much have every bolt-on you can think of except for rr and a tubular k-member and a-arms.

underdrive pulleys are a waste of money. if you want to free up a few extra ponies, then look at the meziere electric water pump. takes the load off the motor, but i would wait until your oe pump goes bad or has high miles. Also if you do that, go ahead and freshen up the opti with a rebuild or a new oe unit!

Judging from the mods in your sig, you are at a great starting point. Scorpion makes a great 1.7 rocker that is fairly inexpensive(~$200). I picked up 2 mph and gained over a tenth going from 1.6s to 1.7s. Well worth the money/effort. Add an EWP, 52MM TB, and a stall to that and you're flying. Getting it tuned can be beneficial as well. Weight reduction and suspension don't add horsepower, but do help lower ETs. An igintion box will allow you to adjust timing manually and can help as well. Hope this helps.

I would go with the bbk 58mm tb, march underdrive pulleys, 3.73's, and 3200 vig. Dont expect much hp from the tb and pulleys because they are small bolt ons. Im not saying not to get them because i did, but they dont give you much.

I have the meziere water pump, 58 mm Holley TB, and all of the other basic boltons with a nice street cam, the cc305. I daily drive my car when I am home from college, which is all summer, and most of the winter. I also have a 3400 stall converter that is really beneficial, with the stock 3.23 gears it really takes off nicely. I really have never liked driving an automatic, my last car was an integra with a 5 speed, but i really do not mind the a4 with stall.

Suspension is a huge deal when you're looking at 60' times. With stock converter, TRUE street tires, and 3.42 gears i was cutting consistant 1.91 60' with just a few bolt ons. Since then I switched to 3.73's and i have a 3500 stall waiting to go in. When the tracks open I'll post somewhere on here where it got me.
