Default Ok please help 4th time

I posted in the sticky many times but people didn't notice it. I know it says you can spend a half hour bleeding your clutch but is it normal for there to be almost nothing coming out with no pressure in the clutch pedel at all? should i just keep at it or is something clogged ? thank you

Did you bench bleed it? If not just run your line with the quick connect up to the reservior and use something to open the line and pump the pedal. This will get fluid into the line. Before I did this to mine I got zero results from bleeding.

How many times are you pumping the pedal? I have found when doing mine that I got much better results pumping the pedal 30 times. I just did this the other day and after three times, I didn't hear any air come out with the fluid. I didn't bench bleed mine either. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Before putting in the master I made sure that the master couldn't compress meaning that air was out of the master.

If you are replacing hydraulics, bench bleed prior to installing is a good way to save a lot of time. Also note, to bleed a clutch without a remote speed bleeder pretty much makes it a 2 man job.

What method are you using to bleed the clutch? Please outline your steps.

I just did mine today as well. LS7 Install. I have a power bleeder and used that for about three full resevoirs. Then I bleed it by pumping it about 5-8 times holding the pedal down and opening the bleeder then colsing the bleeder and allowing the pedal to come up then repeated the process four times and I now have a good feel on the pedal. BTW I also drilled a 1 1/2" hole right in front of the bleeder and used a body drain hole grommet that fits perfectly. I was very surprised at how long it took even with the power bleeder. Hope that helps and just keep going.

there's no need to pump it like crazy before bleeding. Disconnect the hydraulic line from the slave. If the pedal is still compressible then there's air in the master or it's leaking.

Should only take 2-3 pumps to build up some pressure, ideally on the first pump. Sounds like there's a leak or there's a lot of air in the system.
