San Diego Cruise - Sat 8 March
Here is the final information on the cruise this Saturday...
What: F and Y Body, GTO, and any other American Muscle car cruise for fun this weekend.
When: Saturday 08 March 2008. 9AM.
Where: Hooters off the 78, that is either Oceanside or Vista, it is easily seen from the 78.
Route: We will start at Hooters, going West on the 78. Go south on the 5 towards San Diego. Then we will get off on the 56 and go East. Then catch the 15 North. Then the 78 West. After that we will take it to the 5 and either end there or keep cruising toward San Diego or Irvine. If we end on the 78, I say we go to Hooters, drink beer and eat wings.
I am looking to get as MANY cars as POSSIBLE. I have already heard from about 15 on here, and hope to find at least another 10 or more on ls1.com. I am also counting on the law of attrition. If I hear from 50 people saying yes, at least 15 of them will forget or have something come up. Nothing personal, just what happens. I would love to have this be MASSIVE. Please PM me if you have any questions. I will keep this thread up to date as possible with ANY changes or developments. This started as a "warm up " for another cruise in April to welcome a buddy back from Iraq. Now I just want to do it for fun. I will try and put pictures of my Camaro up tomorrow. Just know that it is a 95 Z28 with a big block hood, and is red and black, very clean. Black American Racing rims. I will start PMing you all now. I got caught up at work earlier.

take the el camino real exit off the 78 (this is very close to the 5) and turn right and right on Vista Way. It should be on your left. Hard to miss.
3186 Vista Way # 200
Oceanside, CA 92056

I am going to show up around 9ish. I am bringing my car, but I am going to leave it there and cruise in a buddy's car.... I finally figured out everything that is wrong with my car... including the no talent *** clown at the Pontiac Dealership in Carlsbad that but regular coolant in my radiator instead of what it is supposed to have (the name escapes me right now, but I knew it 20 minutes ago). So now there is rust inside my radiator. They are fixing it and some other stuff, they just don't know it yet. I just don't want to put too many miles on it till they flush it, clean it, give me a new radiator cap (which is rusty now) and do something else to keep me from suing them or just beating the ever living **** out of one of thier mechanics or managers. I think a catylitic converter is in order to appease me... At least until I take it to CMS and get my headers and true dual done...
