just wondering how good of a time that is for my mods, and about what that would be in the 1/4

Not bad for the 60 foot. The mph will support 7.6-7.7 with a 1.6 60 foot time.

that it was! and the track was hookin like crap last night!!! they are 275/40/17 nitto 555r drag extremes. car went low 7.9x with a best of 7.86 on BFG KDWs.. but that was after alot of experiance on those tires.. well infact everytime before this last week at the track was on those tires, so i knew exactly how to set them up

I think the issue your having with your 60" has everything to do with the Nitto's. When I had them I could never get a solid dead hook not even when the car was stock 2.0-1.89 60" was my best I could get out of the Nittos after experimenting with all types of different techniques, tire pressure, longer/shorter burnouts ... , As soon as I stepped up to the ET street radials I cut a 1.67 first night out at tat same track

The only benefit of running Nittos is that you should be able to get a full year out of the pair 10,000-12,000 miles and they put less stress on the rear compared to MT ET street radials.

Irwindale is hit or miss, sometimes it hooks like a **** other times they don't prep it worth a ****

With a little more experience and a better 60" you should be in the solid low 7.7's or better...

Goood luck!

Well sorry.3.73's and drag radials.I dont know why i said i had a lid i didnt have that yet. Other wise bone stock not even free mods .Still had paper filter and all. Drag radials to me is still stock. Other wise 8.2 was before the gears ,so not a big enough difference to count. Most m6 guys can do that with drag radials and take out the front swaybar. My car isnt a factory freak or anything.Just getting it out of the hole is the trick. before drag radials 8.8 was my best

So you are saying you ran an 8.2 bone stock with just a set of drag radials? That is like a 12.80 through the 1/4. Like i said i would have to see that since you are an a4 with a stock stall.
