Default Anyone got a spare lower left A-arm?

I need one. Maybe one of you guys that's done the tubular swap has one laying around I can buy off ya?

Check this out:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes/879235-check-out-my-busted-arm.html

Didn't get into an accident, run into/over anything, it's just plain broken.

I'm not sure about buying tubular a-arms for a daily driver. Don't know if they're durable enough for that. Opinions/experience w/ them?

This is a good one, eh? Some of the roads are rough around here. I haven't ever hit anything. I remember when I did the bushings that I did use a torch to burn out the old bushings. That may have done it. This was 5 or 6 years ago when I did that. Could have taken its toll I s'pose.

I priced a new A-arm through GMpartsdirect.com at $162, and it comes w/ a balljoint and bushings. I've looked around several parts stores online and they don't list the a-arm, only the bushings and balljoints (I guess this is something that's NOT supposed to break, LOL).

This would be a good excuse to get the tubular lower A-arms, but like I said I'm not sure if they're durable enough to handle the rigors of daily driving.

Holy crap, that could have been pretty disasterous. Yikes.

Looks like I'll be freezing my nuts off in the morning this week riding my bike to work until I get a new one. I think I'll probably just order it from GMpartsdirect tomorrow along w/ all new hardware.

I have one off my 98 you can have for a nominal fee. The boot is ripped on the joint, but should be fine. 48k miles on it. PM me.

It looks like it broke because it was hammered on.

Could have, but who knows at this point it's been a LONG time since I've messed w/ the A-arms. Those poly bushings were a beeotch to get back in there.

Would love to, but I don't plan on passing through the Seattle area again until sometime in June and I kinda need my car sooner than that. Jantzer98SS is hooking me up.
