Default I wan't to buy LS1 Edit but fear its to hard to use

What do you think guys. Do I pay someone to tune my car or do I kick down and buy it. A tune runs $400 the program is $550. I would really like to learn how to use it.

Its really not that bad. If you read a lot before making changes you will be fine. Just log all your changes, and save every new flash. You can always go back... With all your mods, it would be well worth it.

I agree with TaTommy. It's not that bad, but you will need to bone up on what all the tables do. Of course, LS1edit it's self is not hard to use at all, it's understanding what needs to be changed and how much that's the problem. Part of the problem is everyone's car and combination of parts is different.

You're in the right place already to learn. Another source is the LS1edit email list; go to carputing.com and sign up. Read every post that comes across these two forums and soon you will know a lot. But you will also find there is a lot of different approaches to tuning, and nobody seems to know everything about it tuning an LS1. (except maybe a few at GM but they aint talkin') Oh yeah and there's this:

use the links given to ya and search your questions on here. you'll find all your answers but its pretty much trial and error. just make small changes and remember to make a copy of your stock tune so you always have it

Buy it, you can't go wrong... You can use it over and over again.

Try to hook up with someone that has tuned with it and ask questions.

LS1 Tech is a good place to start, but remember, take small baby steps when tuning if your not sure on some things.
