Hi Sam... I graduated HS up in the San Jose area where you are (Morgan Hill to be exact) then moved from there to the San Diego area, now I'm in Phoenix
How are the summers out here? HOT AS FAWK!!!! be prepared... it easily hits the 120's
Plenty of cars/meets/cruises to attend... local tracks as well
Plenty of jobs that pay decent as well... the Phoenix area, especially the city of "Surprise" where I live is growing like crazy... the winters are spectacular, the summers suck.
besides that, it's a great place to live as long as you find a nice area... much cheaper than CA...

If you end up coming out again, Friday night we have a cruise spot at the 101 & Northern
(91st Ave & Northern, Northwest corner behind Autozone, 5pm-8pm)
And Saturday's there's another one at 83rd Ave, North of Beardsley, in the
Safeway parking lot, 4pm-8pm)

Actually Scottsdale Pavilions is strict with rules. That's why most of us hang out at the
83rd car show. It's easy to get to... Just take the 101 to the Northwest end of the loop
and exit at Union Hills. Go West about a block to the 83rd Ave light, and Go North.
Follow it up about 3/4 of a mile where it turns and Sardella's Pizza, Safeway market and
a bunch of other shops are there, on the right. The show is huge!

It's not by the mall, but for the last few weeks it's been packed, with no parking left after
4pm. People have been showing up at 3pm to get a spot, and by 4-4:30pm it's full!

phx is awesome, and the summer isnt anything you cant handle, nothing like removing a shirt, going to the pool, lake, waterpark, or stayin inside and enjoying looking out onto the nice sunny day. best state ive lived in and the money here is good. youll love it. car season 24/7, track time 24/7 and lots of nice LS1/fbodies here.

The only "Jackass" out there is the guy running the McDonalds and the show.
He was caught on camera, lets just say being 'unprofessional-like', towards some
grown up people who were just there trying to kick back and relax.
