Default Brake squeel when turning right.

Just put new pads on the SS about 2 weeks ago. My old pads were noisy as hell so I took them off and put Duralast golds on. The olds ones would squeek going down the road at 35 mph. The new ones were great up until a couple of days ago. I get a little squeek when driving and a noticeable one when I turn right. Any ideas on what could be causing it?

You could try some disc brake quiet on the back of your pads.

Your break squeaks may have been masking squeaks coming from your bearings. I just had to replace my bearings after a break job. My bad brakes and my bad bearings sounded very similar to each other.

I'm afraid it could be the bearings. If I hit the brakes when I'm turning right, the squeel stops and will start back when I let off. Could there be something with the brakes that's causing the squeel in a right hand turn? It squeels even if I turn the wheel just a hair.

I have a 1998 Trans Am and when I make hard slow turns, the back brakes seem to make a loud sound (in between a squeal and damn near a honk) that periodically gets louder as the rotors spin around. Binding calipers combined with bad lining material?

Default squeeks on right turns

i installed new 1LE bushing on both sides (front LCAs) and new moog uppers on both sides. When i turn right it squeeks and when im pushing on it the front right squeeks. from what iv'e read bearings cause this noise and lower ball joints. Looks like its time to change them out with new moogs. What a PITA if you ask me. Thats what you get when you drive these cars the way their suppossed to be driven!
