EGT has too many variables to be of the same use in gas motors as diesel, therefore most of us don't bother. Overly rich fueling and late ignition timing that could save your pistons could look like insanely high damaging EGT's. Also, lean conditions or early timing that could blow your motor can "appear" to be OK EGT's. If you truly understand enough to utilize EGT's as a tuning tool, do the research, and don't trust what random people on the internet tell you.

Sorry if I took your post the wrong way, but most threads that start with "what brand and where to get it" turn out to be started by people who haven't researched what they are getting into.
