EGT has too many variables to be of the same use in gas motors as diesel, therefore most of us don't bother. Overly rich fueling and late ignition timing that could save your pistons could look like insanely high damaging EGT's. Also, lean conditions or early timing that could blow your motor can "appear" to be OK EGT's. If you truly understand enough to utilize EGT's as a tuning tool, do the research, and don't trust what random people on the internet tell you.

PLX offers an EGT kit. If you feel like you need one shoot me a PM.
You can also measure Cylinder head temps as well.

Thanks,
Derek

I love how everyone thinks your an idiot on here at first glance. Don't school me on EGT's please. I asked were to get a kit. Not how they work, what they are for, or any other bull. Step back and think before you try and school people.

Innovate's TC-4 is pretty cheap, and can log 4 at a time with one device.

Sorry if I took your post the wrong way, but most threads that start with "what brand and where to get it" turn out to be started by people who haven't researched what they are getting into. It's sort of a "knee-jerk" reaction to let them know what they are getting into. I will now exit your thread.

I got mine from Zietronix, along with my wideband 02. It all came with a nice display box for everything, and was at a good price compared to other kits on the market.

No problem, I think I was having a bad day already and I apoligize for lashing out at you. Your input is always welcome by me, and again, I am sorry for lashing so quickly at you.
