Default 10.5 on the rear question

is a 17x10.5 315 tire... on a car lowered 1.5 inches... is there any clearance issues? 2000 SS

i dont have 315s but from what i have read it depends on what tire your going with as they all have a different width. I think its the nittos 315 that run a bit wider, not 100% sure on that. You will definitely need an adjustable panhard bar, the BFH mod, and possibly need to roll your fender lip. But like i said i dont run 315 tires so just trying to give you a little help since i noticed no one has said anything.

When you run 10.5 widths / 295 + you're almost always going to run into slight fitment issues. Because this car is lowered it is almost a given I'd say? You will probably need to grind the bump stop slightly and hammer out some rubbing spots on the inside of the fender. This process is actually very easy and has been done hundreds of times by folks looking to fit a nice set of rims and tires on their f-body.

Ok my mistake. What were the 315's that run a little big then? I remember something running big and im pretty sure it was some sort of drag radial.

goodyear GS-D3 tires will be larger than most 315s
