Pick up the phone and talk to Dave at Yank - he'll give you the definitive answer.

Yes, traction from lower speeds will be non-existent unless you run a good tire. Nittos work well on the street, and MT ET Streets work awesome at the track. I run regular street tires on a day-to-day basis and my car will break loose at 50 on a cold day. Might be that PT4400 causing that, but you get the point!

1st gear has no traction for any stalled A4 on street tires.

my rear tires are pritty wide they are the same as stock c6 corvette wich comes like 400hp i believe, so my tires wouldn't handle a 3600 stall at 1st gear, does anyone know any stall or str i could get that i could keep my tires, they cost me $1000 and i don't want to have to change them

Uh with a stall your probably not ever going to get traction in 1st on street tires.... If you want to race get a good tire your not going to be burning the tires off everywhere just drive normal.

You'll need to learn to control the throttle instead of just mashing it. 3.73s definitely will make it easier to spin.

You can still keep your tires if you go with the Yank. I have street tires for daily driving. You'll just have to go easy in first then hammer it.

You can always get two extra wheels and mount drag radials on them for when you really want to go fast.

With 19" rims, you will not get traction with a stall. That's a fact....you might want to get another set of rims with some drags or drag radials. Or your tires will be gone

im not gonna take off the rims or tires, if i stay with 3.23 and go with a 3000 stall will it make it easier to get traction. I understand what you guys are saying about not mashing on it but by doing that is there even a point of getting a stall in my case? thanx for all opinions

i guess i may not get a stall now, so with just full exaust and lid with stock stall and 3.23 is a tr224 cam ok or pointless? or would it be more wise to get a smaller or cheater type cam

You want to match the cam to the gears and the stall. If done right the 3 can form a killer combination.
