Default What happened!!!!!

Me and my father got our cars retuned yesterday, and the resultswere good in one way and disappointed in other way, my dad changed his set-up from TEA 1.5 heads and XE-R 224/224/.583/.583 and all the bolt-ons and SLP exhaust he put down 407rwhp,then he changed his set-up to trick flow 215cc heads and the 228/230 cam that came with the package deal, and he didn't inprove at all it was a 407rwhp and his car is m6 stock rear -end with 4.10's,and on the othere hand i got his heads and cam(look in sig of mods) the only differance between the to is mine is a a4,with slp coldair induction and bbk80mm tband my car put down 400rwhp,what went wrong with my dads set up or is there anything holding it back .

Seems like the added duration, added lift, and better flowing heads would have lead to some solid gains. At least 15-20 maybe more. Not sure what up bro, but good luck figuring it out. Post up when if and when you find something.

Could you post and/or overlay your dads old graph with the new one?? That would also be a great help in figuring out what is up with the combo.

Sounds like you have a restriction somewhere. What intake does it have?

Also, was it retuned after the changes?

I am with this guy!! The restriction could be the stock injectors. I made 423rwhp through a slipping A4 with a PTC 3600 stall converter and stock 3.23 gears. Tell him to throw a set of SVO 30lb injectors in there and see what it'll make..
