Angry Having issues with my y pipe install *pics*

Alright so over the weekend like everybody else it seems, I started to put on my new hooker LTs got them on but now the y pipe is fighting me its a y pipe from jet hot. But the DS pipe hits on a brace (looking for ideas here)

(thats not rust its mud...)

And im almost positive the pipes in all the way but its to wide???? Wth am i doing wrong just frustrated with this project right now.

so since it hits the support it sits to low...Just $#%#ing confused.

hmm, i have never had that issue... i do know that the pacesetter stuff is sometimes made to clear underneath fbodys...... maybe unhook from the catback and install to headers and then see what happens maybe it will flex from the back...... if its still off some and you can figure it out maybe the muffler shop can make you a slightly curved pipe to make up for the bend without looking too ghetto..... that last part is just a worst case of course and the best way it to try to make it fit without doing anything abnormal

The y spread when it was welded. Bend it back (narrower)

Yeah when I did my x pipe setup, I just took that brace off. It doesn't do anything.

Mine still has the brace, cut for clearance, and BFH mod to the top of the Y-pipe. The worst part is, this shows up right at the end of the install when you're breezing through putting it back together, then it laughs at you and makes you do more work to fix it.

My only hits on 1-2 shift at WOT... lol

well a little more often than that...

I took mine off as well. I am hanging on to it for when I get a custom setup and I'll throw it back on then.

My brace is now in the trash can too. It's a flimsy piece of metal. It can't do too much for the car.
