Default freeway mileage 04 gto auto

Hey whats up people first of all wanted to say hello, new to the forums, just bought my gto last night. Tomorrow I am thinking about driving my car to vegas for mopar at the strip, its about 300 miles from my house, and I was wondering what you guys get all freeway as far as miles per gallon. I know the factory says 16 and 21 for my car but I was guessing it would probably be more like 18 or 19.

An 04 Auto's rated at about 25mpg I think. You should pull 25 w/out much problem on a stock 04 Goat. If you get it tuned, have lean cruise enabled to get a couple more mpg on the highway. Let us know how it turns out.

just got back from my trip, it averaged 20 or 21 with almost all highway driving. However, when I put Nevada gas in it i got between 22 and all the way up to 24.5 for a decent stretch, so pretty happy with the mileage.

Wow, I'm suprised. We must get the **** gas here. 22 was the best I ever could average on a 30 mile commute, Typically only 19

When I was stock I had no problem averaging 24 MPG on the freeway. I think the cam killed that though
