I just purchased some PS LTs un-coated, i've heard the coating on these headers is of the lower quality & will flake off in time, BUT, you can buy the PS LTs from Jet-hot coating (with there coating) for 460.00, & i've heard great feedback on the Jet-hot coating. Thats were i would purchase a set if you want them coated, jegs & summit is getting 438.00 for the PS LT coated, so for an extra 22.00, you get a VERY durable coating that will last & last.

Painted long-tubes turned my engine bay into an oven. (Hooker LT Super Comps)

I've since wrapped them in DEI header-wrap, and it made a massive underhood temp difference.

Depending where you live, and what kind of road conditions you see (de-icer, snow, salted/graveled, lots of snow or rain) will dictate how long your coating(s) will last.

If the engine bay is really hot, then the engine isnt sucking in cold air. Cold air makes more performance over hot hence CAI!

I went with the un-coated PS LTs with an ORY for my 97, i was going to go coated, but after hearing how they didn't hold up that well, i've decided to try the regular ones, if there is too much heat, i'll just wrap them some, either way, no biggie.

I don't know why there is any question....the paint is just for shipping, it burns off shortly after install, then you have bare steel headers.

it didnt fit by the stearing. Its was the bolt either it was the whole stearing shaft I dented that fairly easy dent it by the motor mount. And had to dent the y pipe by the torque arm.
