I, too, would recommend Canadian Performance in Pickering. They use a tuner who is very good with HP Tuners.

well i need some place to start and id much rather have a bad tune thats going to keep me from wrecking something then leaving it stock, having some local hobie guess his way around and i end up pooching my motor as he learns his way around the lt1

im just looking for a good base that will keep me safe, let me drive it a bit untill i can take it to get the a/f and ever thing els dialed in on the dyno. if i had the time, patients and the money*for when i run it too rich or lean and hurt some thing* to learn to tune my car. i would gladly doo that. but right now i dont and there is nothing like this around this area. there might be a few supercharged cars in the vancouver area. but as far as i know. besides imports there isent much in the way of turbo domestics around here

If Edmonton is not to far for you go to AFI performance there. He did my car and is a great tuner.

I am in Kelowna quit often, I went to Calgary for a tune, they do camaros/TA's an vettes and then some, the tuner is good. Just limp it to somewhere and get it done.

Or maybe call MOPAC in Lamgley, I think they have a tuner/dyno.

On s side note, hows the criuse scene in Kelowna...i woould like to get to know some area cars and maybe hit some cruise in's etc.

ive be tossed around to much with just getting parts from mopac so i dont think ill even think about limping my car over the connecter to get it to those guys. if those placed in calgary or edmonton would send me a mail order so i could get my car there, id think about that. im usualy there for a couple weeks ever summer *yah stampede*

Ya, I have actually been to Calgary twice now, the first time I liked what they did, and the second time I had the cam done, and I figured that they knew my car (had my old tune) and it would be just way less headaches, plus the drive is awesome.

I am sure they could send ya some sorta tune via email...but you would need some sorta handheld or something??? Maybe call around and see. Or, find a good friend with a truck and rent a trailer and tow it there???? I know I was gonna hit TTI performance near Seattle to do a blower, they seemed very helpful.

Good luck.

Do not do a mail order tune, best thing to do is drive the car with the kit on and with the car making no boost at all. Take the spring out of the wastegate, I would never trust a mail order tune. Even from the best tuner ever, there is so many variables and every car/setup is different!
