Hi, well.....I modded the oem base on my 2000 SS for a custom radiator install and I'm now going back to an OEM looking/fitting radiator so I need another un-cut airbox base. I'm actually looking for a perfect one free of rub marks from the oe air inlet silencer crap, free of any cracks or gouges, and not all tweaked from heat etc. Not modded/altered in any way.

If you have a non WS6 style airbox base that is perfect looking, I'd be real interested in it. Pics are always great to confirm condition/appearance.

Uhh, thanks...........I may have to do that, but man they've gone up in price and are ridiculus now. If I could find a used one in great shape it should still be half the cost or less. I just got some tail lights that are 99.9% like new, but were half the cost of just one new one at below wholesale pricing (they are insane new, even wholesale). So, there's money to be saved. Sometimes, an amazing amount and you still get the same quality (or more than close enough).

I'll start paying closer attention on ebay, haven't really made much effort there yet as I kinda expected one to surface in here. Usually about 40 bucks give or take on there.

your just wanting a stock base model one thats non WS6 i have about 2-3 of them. $50 shipped if you want it. lmk, i can ship it out saturday. cant get any pics until saturday too.

Yes, just the base model LS1 airbox base/rad retainer. If you could pm me pics on saturday that'd be great. I've got another guy that is doing the same. As mentioned I'm just looking for one that is as perfect and close to a new like part that I can find. Price sounds like exactly what I was up for.

i have a factory gm ss air box from a 2000 ss , still has the castrol ss camaro sticker on it , 100.00 for the whole air box assy

What lid does it have???? I really only need the standard airbox base as I have a Blackwing lid in use on my car now, and I still have the mint oe standard lid hanging in the garage. If yours has the Blackwing lid I might have interest though.

I thought I had a base all lined up for 40 bucks (average price) shipped, and I was just waiting to hear back from the guy once he switched out his setup. But, he wound up having a delay on his end, then I just never did hear back. The dude's PM box is full now, so?

Anybody, just a base? Not cut in any way.
