You need to rattle can the front of the intercooler to make it a bit more hidded. There was a 9 second Nova around town here a while ago that looked like that car.

Saw a Youtube vid of a brown Ford Pinto wagon that ran 10s. When the front wheels lifted, i almost dropped a log. The only give away was the MTs on the rear. It even had half peeled off bumpersticker. Too funny.

Car ran a 10.60 with stock motor ,ported heads, 224 cam,and a 100hp nos kit. Probably close to 475 rear wheel????? Now with the new set up we will see if it hooks it should FLY!!!!!!!Stopping may be an issue. Just like golf thank god for the sand traps!!!!!!!!!:devil:

Well... she went to the track yesterday.... and a slick track it was LOL

Keep in mind this car was built as a cruiser with occational trips to the track. The suspention under it is nothing fancy. Just leaf springs and cheap shocks

track temp 40 degrees and overcast...

right off the trailer it went 10.87 @127 on 8psi and pump gas
after a handful of other passes and shake down runs we turned it up to 12 psi and went 10.32 @134 After playin with the ram rates on the boost controller and getting the feel if things we put a few gallons of good gas in it and popped off a 10.16@141 on only a 1.66 60' and preceded to rip the tires off the rest of the way down the track LOL

all in all after 5 passes, picking up that much time and the owner starting to get the feel of the car.... there are def mid 9's in this cars future. And for it being a 6spd... Chad (the owner) is one hell of a driver! I cant wait to see a new clutch and a 2 step

Ill keep my eyes peeled for some vids flaoting around of it sunday at the track. 1320 vid should have a incar of the 10.16 pass

I cant say enough good things about blake and his operation in Springfield. Car runs like a top and only problem ?traction!!! I am telling you if you are looking for someone to build a turbo kit look no further!!!!!!! 5th pass with this car since new set up 10.1 at 141!!!!!!!!(alot of it is the driver banging those gears(or missing)LOL)

I decided to put the street tires back on old black death so I can get some drive time with it. You should see the faces of people on the highway when you down shift to 4th and the car rips the tires of all the way thru 4th at 80!?!?!? Ordered new Qa1 adj shock to try and take care of some of the wild ride. New brake master cylinder and now I have brakes(hard to stop a car at 140 with no brakes) Waiting for the jury on the twin disc spec clutch set up and then we might as well turn the wick up. That is a very cool sleeper, too. I just wish they hid (painted) the rear bead screws. I would see that car and then those screws and go "What's up with that?".

Nice driving Chad, let us know when the suspension upgrades are done, that thing is going to be unreal.
