Best 5.3L Heads For The Money?
I'm looking to replace my warmed over ls1 heads w/a set of 5.3s for a little better compression (and obviously a little more hp), but I am definitely working on a budget (~$1000 at max).
I know that limits my options a bit, but that's just the way it is.
Suggestions for the best heads around that price?

Thanks for the plugs guys! We've also just finished a few changes to the 5.3L heads which include CNC clearancing for aftermarket rocker arms and improved flow! Same price as before, just a few extra CFM

Checkout the thread I made talking about our brand new 5.3l stage 2.5 cylinder heads. They are completely awesome & priced exactly like our old 2.5 5.3l heads!!!!

Hey Mat & Jason, few quick questions about your 5.3L
Are the valves recessed at all to added a little extra PTVC?
Can you guys swap the patriot Gold springs out for the extremes good to .660 lift?
Do you port intakes, i.e. would you be able to port match my victor jr to your 5.3L heads?

The heads can ship with the silver .660" springs no problem. The valve clearance can be adjusted for the MS3 just like always
