Default clarksville track at Fort campbell

i havent been there in 2-3 years since i etsed. just curious who goes there now. and if the Orange evo is still raping everyone. back in 05-06 timeframe is was the fastest "street" car there. ran low 6's in the 1/8 track there.

also wonder if the horrible girl driver of the blue/white 03-04 cobra mustang still ran horrible mid 9's.

and is 41a still the Largest dragstrip in America there? lol
i miss those days. every stoplight on 41a was a drag race.

41a is a big no go now......cops love to hang around there, plus they added a police station across from Grandpas. Track is still going strong though but nothing to write home about. Alot has changed here in the last few years.

I dont know about 41a being a no go, yeah its true about the cops, but theres still alot of racing going down there, fastest "street" car Ive seen there was last season its a red s-r-t-4, ran high 6s, I go there almost every friday when the weathers good.

Default heh

yea cops never stopped the racing on 41a. it was bad when i was there.

a s-rt4 running 6's pretty dang good time for a fwd 4banger in the 1/8 espcially since that track was Horrible for traction.

there was a s-rt4 club there back in the day but none of them were better than mabe bottom 13's heh guess more deployments= more mods

ahha good old midnight madness. heh i raced 3 diff cars during those days. my 04 grand prix my 05 gxp and the ta.

was more fun watching all the rice run there 9,10.and 11's. and 30 min before they were talking about how they kept up with this ls1 ect ect.

When I would go last year there was a Eagle that was running REALLY low 6's and even clicked off a high 5. Last time I went in Aug he said that he had to get a new tranny put in and would be even better.

The track got new ownership 2-3 years ago and a lot has changed for the better. I know he was talking about getting the track torn up and replaced because of the horrible bump about halfway down the track.

41a is pretty iffy thats for sure especially if you head into Clarksville. If you go towards Hoptown then its a lot easier thats for sure. The stop light at the new WalMart is one of a lot of peoples fav places to get a quick race in.

Yea it hooks pretty good if you have anything other then street tires for the most part. The midnight madness is pretty much worthless though. The TnT nights were pretty good. Most nights only about 20-25 cars showed up and you could get in as many runs as you wanted.
