Do any cars have 2 strokes come to think of it? I always wondered that. 2 strokes would probably be horrible for the environment on such a large displacement engine.

i bet they had oil injectors like the jet skis and snow mobiles though. It'd be a bitch to mix gas on fill up haha.

The U.S.A. pretty much outlawed two cycle engines. I know out here in CA. lawn mowers have to be four stroke. Watercraft are now four stroke with turbo. There was just no way to control emissions with the two stroke.

can you just imagine a high revving 2 stroke power valve with reeds in a 6.0 displacement, that would be so outstanding,

2-strokes are common across the country in lawn-care equipment and recreational vehicles. Far from "outlawed".

2-strokes - mix the oil and gas, or the engine does it for you. (not including the gear oils)
4-strokes - gas and oil do not mix... well they should not be mixing.
Also i think 2-strokes do not have valves, i could be wrong theo.

4-cycle makes me think of riceeeee Suck, Squish, Bang, Blow. lol

2 strokes are used widely in the construction industry. Chainsaws, concrete/chop saws, weedwhackers, anything that is really going to get used on an angle or incline where a typical oiling system would be difficult to use uses the 2 stroke system. No oil pan or pump to worry about. Dont have to set it in the back of the truck level or anything either. Just toss it in and go.
