The TH350 will bolt directly to the LS block minus one bolt(forgot which one). You will need a new flexplate also. I know the 1998 and the 6.0L ones have a dual bolt pattern that I think will work, I have a TCI in my car. With the carb setup I am running the kit from Edelbrock. The only sensor hook ups you need for the kit are for the coil packs, cam position and the crank sensor. The the usual power and ground sources

im running a carbed 5.3 with a th350 behind it. The tranny bolts right up minus the 10 O'Clock bolt (looking at the back of the block). I didn't have to get a new flexplate, i just had a converter made for me with an ls1 pilot on it and it bolted right up to the tranny, no adapters or anything.

I'm doing a similar swap into my 70' Nova and I'm also using my existing TH350. From what I've been reading, you can use the 6.0L flexplate with a spacer that you can buy from Summit Racing or a Vendor on here. It should provide you with enough clearance to mate your convertor without using a pilot or buying a new flexplate.

The manufacturer is Hughes and the PN is HP3795

The tci flexplate comes with the dual bolt pattern (gm small) and ls1 based bolt pattern.
It also includes a spacer for use with non ls converters. If you use a ls based plate you will need the gm spacer and if it's not a 6.0 plate you will need to elongate the holes for the converter bolts.

the question no one seems to be able to answer is whether or not ill have to make a new trans crosmember... yes im using the existing th350.

the motor mounts i bought are form Transdapt... wondering if theyll place the motor exactly where it's supposed to be.

If you bought the transdapt, standard ls based plates you will not be able to bolt the engine into the chassis with the trans in the exact same location. The 1 inch setback gets you much closer but your still going to come up about 1 inch shy.
