**** bro thats just stupid in my opinion, if you want to go lighter just remove the front sway bar and that will transfer the weight to the back better and give you a better 60" foot, what if you rear end someone on the way to the track????
atleast trim the support down a bit cut some small pieces off but dont remove it.

carefull what you start cutting without having a cage in the car or something to keep it together. i had to take my k-member out after cutting out the core support and a bunch of other stuff and the frame rails opened up like a .10 *****.
In a unibody car 99% of the metal is structural

I don't think its that big of a deal anyways, even slow mph front end wrecks I have seen on an F-body doesn't seem to fair well with the motor.

I think you're doin the right thing if weight reduction is what your after. I don't worry about all the "what if's." What if someone crashes into you? What if you crash into a pole? What if an elephant fell down from the sky on top of your hood?

People tell me that all the time and I just have to laugh. Let's be honest, in these kind of cars we have to drive alot more careful than your average person. And regardless, everyday we get onto the street anything can happen, whether you have a bumper support or not.

I pulled the bumper support, the a/c condensor, dryer, and compressor. The washer fluid reservoir, the rear seats and seat belts, the jack and the spare tire out a long time ago. And I haven't regreted it since.

Keep up the good work man, I like where your head's at.....

looks good. taking out the washer fluid and moving the battery should help quite a bit with weight transpher also.

if its a race car track only then cool, but be carefull out there cuz theres alot of stupid people behind the wheel remember you still have to drive it out there. look into some QA1 front and rear drag shocks that will distribute the weight a lil better to.
