TCI non-lockup converters are great, their lockup converters are not as good. I don't know why that is.

I had a tci 3500 for my first converter swap and it was great at the time and for the price. Now i have a vigilante 3800 and i think it's better. it just feels like it belongs in the car. I love getting the jump on all those manuals.

If it's the SSF 3500, I believe it's a 2.5 STR
The SF 3000 I believe is a 2.0 STR

Data I have showed the TCI 3000 at 97% and in pretty early, the
3500 peaking at 95% but not until 6000RPM or so. Not bad.
