Default LQ4 Th350 Do I still need Spacer?

Well Im getting ready to pick my Lq4 soon and Im kinda starting to want to keep the Th350. So I have been looking around and I foundthe whole spacer thing but then I checked TCI. They have a flewplate for th350 to ls based motors. I'll put up the link with the table and the link for just the ls th350.

Table is halfway down the page.

Heres the actual flywheel.

if the lq4 came with a 4l80e originally then you dont need anything to bolt it up to a th350/400, if it still has the flywheel and spacer on it.

just get a th350 converter with dual bolt patterns on it(most 10" aftermarket th350 converters come with the th350 and 400 bolt patterns on them)

this is what i have on my s-10 and my brother has in his malibu 6.0/th350, no spacers or special flexplates needed, the lq4 flexplate will have the larger th400 bolt pattern on it already

Thanks for the reply but the Lq4 I'll be getting is a 2002 so it won't have a spacer. Plus I might later change to a T56 and I don't know how the spacer would affect that.

For a T56, you'd replace the flexpate+spacer with a flywheel....

Thanks for all the quick replys. I'll be picking up the engine next week and I'll check and see if the spacer is there or not. I have been waiting to do this swap for a year now and I finally have the funds. Now all the little what ifs are popping in my head.

Yep, but even on those you don`t need the spacer, they have a longer crankshaft. So as long as you get a motor that had a 4l80e behind it your ready to go.
