stock ls1 made 322HP and 343TQ?
Hey guys im selling my LT1 formula today, and am looking for a new car. I pretty much have my mind made up on getting an 04 GTO. The guy that owns the car had it on the dyno and it made 322HP and 343 Torque at the wheels..I dont know a whole lot about LS1's but it seems a little high especially for just having a K&N airfilter. I talked to him and he said that was on a dynojet. Im planning on putting longtube headers on it, getting rid of the cat(s), and get a tune for it. Can anyone give me a ball park on where I should be at with it(RWHP)...by the way, its an M6.

i had mine on the dyno and i made 329hp and 348ftlbs on a mustang dyno with only a lid and K&N. M6
People say longtubes give bout 20 hp, i haven't had mine on a dyno since the LT but, track times dropped by 4 tenths

Do you know what make the dyno was? Many will argue that a Dynojet will show higher numbers than a Mustang Dyno. Either way it sounds like a very strong Goat! Are you sad to see your LT1 go or are you just looking forward to the LS1 too much to care?

Yeah, that sounds to be one of the higher scoring stock cars out there, but definitely believable.
Keep in mind when switching from LT1 to LS1 that the torque comes in much higher. It wont feel as strong from a 2K punch, but it'll practically tear your face off from a 4500 rpm punch.
