Default Is this catch can set up right?

Some pics in the search aren't that clear. (RevExtreme catch can)

Rubber tube going to the top of the catch can is in the yellow box. It is the piece that comes around from the back of the drivers side valve cover. Passenger side valve cover is blocked off.

Supplied tube is going to the side of the intake. Throttle body is blocked off.

The catch can is ok that way.

IMO, You should reconnect the fresh air tube from the TB to the Valve cover.. else you are going to pull a lot of vacuum in the engine and most likely be sucking up a lot of oil into the catch can. The Fresh air port on the TB allow air into the engine and keeps high vacuum from being generated by the PCV port pulling air/vacuum.
