Default new some answers please read and comment..

ok my buddy has a 02 ws6, with just exhaust!! and i think a lid. and he's getting it tuned as we speak, does anyone have an idea how much horses he should gain, also do u guys think he should of waited til he got headers at least???

yeah i kinda gave him the hint that he's wasting money but he told me well im gonna put headers on in a month or so and i can just come back and retune it for free.. i was lik well u just wasted time and hp... now do u guys happened to know if u gain more hp with qtp headers then pacesetters?

Maybe he wants a baseline before the headers to see how much they gain.

yeah i figured something lik that, we'll i just wish the best of luck to him, he's a good friend. just a lil hard headed sometimes but thats everyone...

I did headers, ORY, cutout, and EFI Live tune (not dyno) all at the same time and it was a huge difference. I could definetly tell I had a lot more power. The guy I go to charged me $125 for the first tune and he charges me $25 for updates. Not a bad deal

Well, once you are tuned it is peanuts to get a re-tune. So it isn't a bad idea at all to get it tuned the day you get a car. Some places do free re-tunes.
