Default Which pushrods to use for LS6 cam swap?

Im putting a 02+ LS6 cam and valve springs in my 5.3. I know the LS6 cam has a smaller base circle, but I don't know which length pushrods i need to make up the difference. I am using stock rockers.

thanks

Pushrod length checker would be my advice, cheap and eliminates the guesswork. Several of the sponsors on here sell them.

Where would I get one of these? How much do they usually go for?

I know that Comp makes two for the Gen III engines. IIRC they have a cheap one and a nice one. I think the nice one is like $20-$25...not bad at all.

I have heard of people running the 5308 cam with their stock (or stock length) pushrods with no problems.

im having trouble i put a ls6 cam in my 5.3l and im having trouble it idles fine but it feels like its lacking power and when i rev it or accelerate it bogs down when i let off and some times dies. i turned the o2 sensors off to correct the random multiple misfire code and i changed the downstream o2 sensors and still no luck im at my wits end please help!

Sounds like you might need a tune. I didn't know o2's could cause a P0300. Something seems off.

7.425 if you don't use LS6 heads with the longer valves, but I have heard the 7.4's will work, but you won't get the full lift of the cam, although we are only talking about .025" here plus the flex of hyraulic lifters.
