Default Where did you get your harness?

I'm in the middle of attempting to install my harness, and keep getting pissed off. Where did you purchase your harness from and how much did it cost? This is the last big step to getting my Jeep running so I really want to get it done.

Thanks

When you say cleaned up, do you mean getting wires snipped? I would like to have the same done to mine I think... Maybe then I'd be able to figure out where stuff goes.

Check out wait4meperformance, they trim out all the non essentials out of the harness and will reprogram on your ecm $300, they mark all the wires as to where they go. had mine done there and started up with 2 turns of the crank. Had them pull out everything I didnt need (Vatts, 2nd set of O2 sensors, AC, etc. and they reprogrammed the ECM for Cam, Headers, gear change & tire size, etc.

I second speartech. I used another vendor first and after all the mistakes and year of hassle I finally pulled the harness and had speartech fix it.

You can mod your own harness a lot cheaper. It's easy to do.

I tried this and ran into some problems. If you dont have an oscilloscope to diagnose problems it can be a not so fun time.

X5 for Speartech. Car fired and ran on the first crank. John was also very helpful helping me find a bad switch on my cruise control. Outstanding products and service.

I called all of the companies listed in this thread, and this guy had the best price and sounded the friendliest. Sent my harness off last week and he called me today to say he received it. He says he'll call back in a day or two when he's ready to program it.

Your gonna need one thing I'm guessing you don't have. A Helms manual that covers the vehicle your engine was pulled from, either that or a complete pinout and diagram of the harness. Without one or the other (I prefer the Helms) and the skills to understand the diagrams and make the necessary changes, I'm affraid your screwed. This really isn't something someone can talk you through.
