Default new best 1/8th

Times and mods in sig. But I have owned the car for 2 months now and it is well on its way to my short term goal. I couldn't have done it without the help of this website and one of my personal friends Mike Burris aka FullForce. I am confident I have a little left in the current combination with good weather, and free mods. Whatcha think?

Wow, its amazing what you can get someone to say about you for 20 bucks!

Nah, on a serious note, this car is running pretty good. Its full weight plus however much extra the umi tunnel mount tq arm and umi sub frame connectors weigh.

Basic WOT tune consisting of 28* timing and 12.8-13.0 a/f.

Now if I could talk him into doing some weight reduction and gears. We still need to port the TB and put a Flowmaster merge in the Pacesetter y pipe. I would like to see how quick we can get the car with stock engine before we put a cam in it.

nice times. i had a similar setup (00 z28, 373s, and fuddle 4k) at full weight the car went 7.71 like a clock with a slight spin 1.64-1.66 60'. went 1.60 and it apparently scared the transmission causing my 2-3 rev limiter smack about 8 times resulting in a 7.69 - runs were made @ 2,500' da +/- a few. i was on stock suspension and stock 16" snowflakes.

Damn were running similar times with similar setups
I have A/C, Emissions, and the front sway bar off though.... so 60lbs or so and Im a hardtop....

Did you have your front sway bar on the car? If so pull that sucker for the track and you should be good for a 1.58-57 60"
