Guys, what's the largest cam I can run in an A4 w/o tuning? Just as the title says, what's the largest cam I can run in my 99 Z-28 w/o tuning? I need a larger cam for my daily driver than my LS6 cam but it has to run w/o tuning w/o all of the idle problems and surging.

Re: Guys, what's the largest cam I can run in an A4 w/o tuning? From what I read, 212/214 is about max, I put a 216/220 and I definately needed some tuning, Has some surging and idle problems in my car,overall though the performance of the cam is good.

Re: Guys, what's the largest cam I can run in an A4 w/o tuning? I put a 220 220 cam in a c5 that would have been fine without tuning, but long term tuning is definately a big help.
