Default Best Intake Manifold for Turbo app.

I am still stuck with the LS1 intake on my setup and I feel like it might be choking it somewhat. I was looking at FAST but also heard that it likes to leak when under boost. Would my best bet be to go with just an LS6 intake or does the LS1 really even effect a turbo application? Thanks in advance.

LS6 Wont do you wrong, has been proven by many of the hard hitters here. Also check out the new FAST 92 intake, suppose to be much better than the older FAST 90. do a search on this forum, you will find MANY threads about this exact question.

The FAST ones I heard start leaking when boost is factored in. Is this proven and will happen or is it just a case of here and there?

I am pushing the numbers in my SIG with no leaks, so you tell me. This is with the FAST 90. I plan on pushing more boost through my setup as well.

Fast 90 seem to be fine to at least the 20psi range. APS is using fast 90 on their 346 test mule that has gone to that range. Also read about two 1000 engine hp 408 builds on the afr website that run the fast 90 and also running to around 20psi. Over 20psi might be good to rv it or go to mabye the ls6 or something else. In that same afr site article which was from the car mags they said they got better power from the fast 90 than the carb style intake on their test engine.
I am not worried in the slightest running my fast 90 on my current project. But have no intention of going past 20psi and mostly likely will be living in the 12 to 15psi range.

for high boost i'd say use the edelbrock manifold and for a mild setup you could use a fast....I'm planning on running my FAST 92 setup and run roughly 16psi

Carb'd intake with elbow. FAST= way overpriced and doesnt offer the distribution the single plane carb intakes do. Of course that is all my opinion.
