Default Anyone run a 1" smaller diameter in front?

Anyone run 1 inch smaller diameter tires in the front than the back? are you happy with it?any picts? the reason i ask is because they only make the bfg kdw 2's in 275/35/18's and not in a 275/40 . I already have the rear setup --thanks

i actually mean the total diameter of the tires, not the rim.

How well does your current tire fill in the wheel gap? If it doesn't fill it up very well expect it to look like a spare once you drop down to a 35.

lots of Drag setups include a 28" tall rear and 26" front tire. it looks good but don't forget forget running a taller tire on the front vs back will cause the ABS to go crazy. It will sense the height difference as wheel lockup and activate every time you hit the brakes. I'd not recommend it unless you get rid of the ABS. Other than that go for it as long as its not too small a tire.

well i did find that bfg makes a 265/40 for me to put on the front. so the front will be at 26.3 inches and the rear will be at 26.7 inches in diameter. i think thats pretty close

im running 275-35-18 up front and 295-35-18 in back. about a 1/2" difference. anymore than that will **** off the T/C and ABS i think.

That will work fine.. Depending on the car the limit is anywhere from .5-.75" difference before the ABS starts freaking out. On my car I had a 26" on the front and 27" on the back and I started to have the ABS issues. The one time I had a 28" on the rear and 26" on the front forget about it.. every time I tried to stop the ABS would kick on and keep me from stopping so I pulled the ABS fuse as a temporary fix.
