Default Question about Rasp?

I have a 2002 Trans am WS6 with SLP LT's with cats and loud mouth exhaust, and there is some rasp, what actually causes the rasp? Soon I will be getting stage 2 heads and cam with kooks LT's and cats with that setup is there still going to be some rasp??

Thanks

its the resonator in the loudmouth. it opens up to 4 inches and makes rasp. I have the same problem, im getting a borla xr1 racing muffler to combat the issue.

the resonator is giving you the rasp, question: what exhaust are you running to the resonator? a y-pipe or TD's? i had a H crossover put in my TD set-up with my LM1 resonators and it quieted down the rasp

It's the loudmouth. If you swapped to a Magnaflow, I guarantee it would go away.
