You need to post pics or something.
What size is the hose? what material, hard plastic, rubber?
Right side as looking at it or sitting in the vehicle?
Without a picture you're going to get a bunch of misleading guesses, unless you can be way more specific.

it is on the r/s if you are sitting in the car i think it is the pcv valve. it a fat rubber hose the goes into a small hard plaste hose that is covered in foam. it also has a gound strap on it. that fat rubber hose is cracked, is this some that auto zone would stock or is this a dealer item. also would this cause a vacuum leak?

Mine is cracked too! Right where the Ground Strap is, its ripped in half almost.. I believe i am getting a vacuum leak from it also.

Its the hose that holds half of the PCV valve.

+1 someone help us

Dealer only on that, I hear the price is very high though.
There are different ways to duplicate the pcv system with regular fuel line and a different pcv valve. For 1/3 the cost of the dealer stuff.

Anyone know what size line or what valve? Could I cut off that big piece and just slide another big piece over the hose in its place?

i think it is a hose that fits over the pcv valve and i think u need a little adaptor, and the groundin strap would just go over the unit, not inside it
