Exclamation what is wrong with my m6 ? vid inside

notchy feeling...all gears are ok except for the 4th... sometimes it goes fine,but sometimes I have to put in neutral and engage it again ... see vid..Does the shifter make this problem or something else...I hope it is the shifter !!

link no worky for me! if im not mistaken, if u have to double clutch it sounds as if its ur syncros. try changing the tranny fluid too that can help!

That is most likely internal trans problems. The 3/4 fork, shift fork pads syncro's etc.
The trans will need to be tore down inspected

syncros. Get it done while fixing is cheap(er). If you run it like that and ruin 4th gear it is the most expensive gear to replace plus 3rd could end up damaged too even if you don't hear or feel it like you do in 4th gear. Not that I've ever f'd up a gear or two in my day

Synchros are inside the transmission itself. In REALLY basic terms they are what makes shifting easy. If it is indeed a synchro you'll have to drop the tranny and get inside there to fix it.
