Default Advantages of boost controller

Right now my turbo is being ran off just a wastegate spring. What are some advantages of having a boost controller? Can I just turn up the boost while inside the vehicle with em?

Yes theres that and . I was reading MAximum boost the other day and they gave a great reson for it was that some electronic boost controlers will keep the wasegate closed till max boost is achived .

This helps the turbo spool faster and make more power on the low end .
Typicaly the wastegate will start opening at about half the spring rating

I have my manual controller mounted beside the TC switch under the heater controls. Tight fit hooking the lines up on the inside but looks like it belongs there.

the adjustments are easier, u,ll know pretty much what boost u'll be running before you make a run. i just picked up the AMS-500 this week and getting it wired in this week end. its a 2 stage controller so u can run one stage one high boost and have a second stage switch for low boost. i going to have a 2.5 bar SD tune also.
