Clean ride! I like white on the C5. Not so much on the C6 for some reason.

I've heard that a good rule of thumb is to take your blue book value and then add up what you spent on all your mods and divide the mod money by 2. So if the blue book is $12000 and you spent $8000 on mods then around $16000 is a good asking price. It sucks but you lose a lot of money on resale when it comes to aftermarket parts.

One thing to remember is NOT to count labor in that figure, just parts.

24 or 25 is to high in my own opion you would be better off selling the wheels separte the car at a dealership in the condtion like yours being clean would probally bring anywhere from 17 to 19k retail.. another problem you run into is you have to sell your car to someone that wants those mods which makes the sale more difficult.. I would go for 22500 or 23 in that range and see if you get any bits.. also another problem you run into is a bank will not loan the extra money on the vehicle since the car is worth 19k max in premium condtion (which most of the times banks don't give) your going to have to find someone with the extra money but good luck with the sale and very nice vette whites my fav color

I totally agree, I think 18 or 19k is a stretch, but you never now. If you look around the corvette forum, it might help you get an idea of what stuff is selling for. If you part the car out you will have much better luck. I have an 02 z06, with a bunch of mods and I bet you I couldent get 25k for my car.

I understand, I was just using $12K as an example - I didn't look it up your blue book value.

Looks like a great car but I would think 20k would be the tops in this crappy market.

I'd have to say $18-20K.

I agree, but with the right buyer. Remember that you only get back pennies on the dollar with mods. Most often you can get more money for mods by taking them off the car and selling them rather than selling them with the car.

i would say 16-18. A 98 is getting old its already 10 years old. You cant get HUD which is huge for a lot of people. Id take it like right now if it went up for 17. You can get into a c5 zo6 for around 23 right now. A lot are going for mid 20's and you can always get it down a little. theres a guy on my local craigslist selling a speedway white 2001 zo6 for 23500 with 40000 miles. I prefer the coupe style or id buy that

Your best bet is going to be to sell the wheels separate then try to get 18-19k for the car. Gonna be tough to get 19k IMO.....

Keep the car.... it looks killer and it's nicely modded.

Don't have a bunch of roaches come around your house knocking it wanting to pay with used toilet paper...

Take the high road and enjoy it!
