Default TR230 or F1 w/ a 114 LSA

Does anyone have this? Maybe the TR in a 112 or 113 even.

I have an M6 with full boltons, stock heads and rear. Just wanted to get a little bit better idle with the higher LSA and maybe a flater torque curve.

I was set on the TR224 for a while, but now I just want something bigger.

My exhuast set up is Kooks 1 3/4 inch headers w/ 3 inch y and magnaflows smallest cats, and a loudmouth.

Heads will be in my future, some time down the road but not anytime soon.

Thanks for the help/input.

i think they only make a 111 LSA.
The cam works great if you want to stay with stock heads

Yeah but I think TR can custom grind the LSA of your choice, for a little more money.

Either cam will work very well for you. I had the F1 for awhile. Why would you want a 114 lsa though? The F1 has a 112 lsa with a 110 icl.

Yea im curious to why you want to go on a wide LSA. In a thread a while back it was said that if you have to widden the LSA for idle quality that its too big

I was also concerned with losing alot of low end torque. I know that you had the TR 224 before the F1, how do the two compare? Is the low end torque/ idle quality that much different between the two?

Thanks

Matt

World of difference between the two as far as idle is concerned. The reverse split of the F1 kept it fairly smooth though. The 224 idled pretty much like stock. I lost NO low end torque though going up to the 230.
