I think I broke my timing chain
I was doing 70 with the cruise on and then I heard something pop the car bucked and that was it. Car turns over no start. Anyone else ever had there's go out like that?

Did the car stay running until you stopped it or did it buck and stall coasting to a stop? How long did it buck? Have you checked all of the electrical items including ECM?

There is always a first time for everything so I am not saying that it didn't break. It will just sound TOTALLY different and spin FAST when you try to crank it so it's kind of obvious if it's TC. Maybe have someone crank it and cover an exhaust tip with your hand and see if you can feel or hear any exhaust being pushed out. Dunno what else to say? Hope you get it straght!!

If you really believe you broke the chain you better not crank that engine with the starter motor. The additional damage you'll do could be very costly if the damage hasn't already been done. If you insist on turning the crank do it by hand. If the timing is off it makes a very distinct sound and there's no mistaking it. On the otherhand if the chain is actually broken timing is out the window because the crankshaft and camshaft have already signed the divorce papers.
