Six Speeds Inc win at the Clash of the Titans I had a blast yesterday at The Clash of the Titans Race, we unloaded and went a 9.11 right off the trailer followed by a 9.10,9.05,8.99,8.97, and a 8.99 in the final. The weather was Hot 101 by my weather meter and the baro was 29.38 and Humidity of 60% Made the DA hover around 3300 feet. I had some tough competiors in the Cheap Street class, and my car being over weight did not help either.Well my car weight 3200 with me in it, and I only needs to weight 2800lbs. The race I had in the semi final was close 9.05 to my 8.97. We became the first N/a car to win the race, and I think the first stick car to win the class. I would like to thank my crew Amber ,Scott,Aaron, and Daivd for all the help I could not have done it with out those guys. We have some work to do for the next race as it is in about a month at HRP. I need to fine tune the car a little more, and lose some more weight

Congrats,
I have been following your build sense we raced in the LS1Tech shootout 4 years ago. Me and you raced in the finals in Texas, it was the last race of the season. Your car has come a long way sense then. Very impressive. Congrats on the win, you deserve it.

Way to go! I was wondering when I was going to hear some new results. I am looking forward to seeing you run at the NMCA/NMRA superbowl. Are you still planning on going?

Faceplated, and yes we only use the clutch to launch. And the clutch is an adjustable one like what is used on a pro stock car, comp eliminator, or super stock. It is very smooth on the launch this way, and make drivertrain parts last.
