left parking light/turn signal keeps going out
Ive replaced my bulb already and both parking light come on when i turn the headlights on so i know it must be something in the wiring.
my left parking light and turn signal isnt working. like i said i changed the bulb. and it worked for a day or two and it went out again. the light turns on when i flip the headlights on but the turn signal and parking light aspect doesnt work. is ther a module notorious for going bad or anything else i should know of? thanks.

I would also like to know that. As far as I know, it's a 3457 bulb right? All the AutoZones and O'Reily's and Advance Auto Parts around here don't carry them. They only have sockets for 3157 bulbs.
Also, on that note, 3157 bulbs and 3457 bulbs look identical to me. Can they use the same socket? Is there a voltage tolerance difference? I'll use the 3157 is there is no problem because the best deal I can find on a 3457 (OE) socket is $38 dollars. And only that because my sister works at a GM dealership and that's employee pricing. Another GM dealer I went to today wanted to charge me over $80 for the freakin socket! Insane. I refuse. I'll fashion something myself out of coathangers before I do that.

The factory spec calls for 3157 bulbs in the turn signals and tail lights. 3457 and 3157 bulbs are identical and interchangeable except that the 3457 is a little brighter on the bright filament (40 candlepower bright / 3 candlepower dim versus 32cp / 3cp for the 3157). You certainly can use a 3157 socket for 3457 bulbs.

Yes they do. its abour $8 at autozone the little package/box will say that its for 80's and early 90s gm cars and trucks but its the same for T/A's
and to install it all you have to do is cut the other one off and splice the new one in thats it.
