Pics of OFI radiator and fan setup?
Id like to see some pics of the ofi ls1 f-body fan and radiator setup. Does this work in the stock location or do you have to move the radiator forward? Im thinking of piecing together an ofi setup and id like to start here just because with my current turbo kit im having overheating issues with the a/c on.
Eventually i will get the hot side and do my own custom plumbing to my fmic.
Thanks
Alex

Thanks alot. Its hard to tell but do you have to do any metal work and fabing to the stock radiator supports to fit it in. Or is this a "direct bolt in setup"

My hood latch and that plastic bumper brace fit fine on mine. I want a pin on hood myself so I can dump the hood latch and that plastic brace since I'm getting that Burkhart bumper support.

Did you just fasten to fans to the rad? What kind of connectors are those? I'd love to see pics of the expansion tank and how all the lines are routed. Mine are a mess and it takes forever to fill it.

Yeah, fans are connected directly to the Rad, connectors came with the fans, little rods that go through the fans and Rad. I'll have to take some more pics or the canton expansion tank for ya, it's pretty much the same as these pics but I have the overflow tank hooked to the top near the cap. Also, the bottom of the tank is about even with the inlet of the Rad so filling it should be alot faster.

Hmmm I wonder what those fan fittings are called. You're tank setup looks better then the one with the kit. I'd like to see some of the regular ofi tanks that are out there. I'm not sure how it really supposed to work since the bottom is lower then the top of the rad.

Fluid is gravity fed to the Rad from the tank. If it goes down below the Rad then back up to the Rad inlet, it's going to slow it down, kinda like the trap in your sink, one of the reasons I went with this setup. Where OFI placed theirs is pretty nice though because with the battery in the front, there is really no where else to put it, but it will be slow because the hose goes so low.

Thats what I did, just bought some new weatherpack connectors and hooked to the factory harness. They draw alot of Amps though so I'll need to test it all out when I get that far. I'm doing an XFI soon so the stock PCM will be no more and need to figure out all the wiring for this stuff.
