Western Members - My BBQ Space is limited! June 21st

*IMPORTANT*

Space is limited to the first 20 F-bodys that sign up. Please do not post up if you cannot attend. I will put an additional 3 spots for backup. You can still attend as a spectator, but not have your car involved in the show area. Flyer is below. I will add people onto the list as they post up.



Its that Time of Year Again. It was May 20th Last year, and this year I would like to set a date of June 21st. This event may be held at my office instead of my house. I will still rent the bouncer for the kids, and see what I can do about getting a certain good "Q'er" to cook up for us. El Pollo loco was good last year, but we need something better. The BBQ will of course be open to all late model GTO's, G8's, and Corvettes. This will be posted on the G8 boards and Corvettes as well. We should be able to fit about 220 cars if need be. I'm going to get the approval tomorrow to have it there, then the date will be confirmed. The raffle is definitely intact and there will be some really good stuff for everyone again. Last year there was some confusion, as to a "Charge" for the event, that only pertained to the racing of the go-karts, this is an absolutely free event, so make sure to come eat on me, and win something in the process. The office is located in Corona, CA.

I'm hoping to get a dunking tank, and have Mike Haddad attended. I know many of you would like to have your chance at sinking him, so lets see if he will be a good sport and agree to this (Mike you just got put on blast here) If not, I know that Steve will graciously accept the offer.

Damn this sounds like fun. We'll be BBQ and playing poker at my in-laws that day. If there's a change of plans, and space available, count me in (with at least one kid).

granted, f-bodies are pos', but those all sound like LSx problems more then f-body specific problems. Except the rear issue, which GTOs also have

Sorry right now its mainly late model Lsx vehicles. Corvettes are allowed all model years. You can still show up for the event, your car will not be in the show area. Let me know if you are still coming and I'll make sure to hook you up with the wrist band for the good food and drink.

i know a few f body's still on their stock rear running single digits, and f body's arent all that bad, i mean ive seen a few including my own go to 200k on the stock engine tranny and rear, mine went 13.1 at 107 with a lid and catback and diablo sport at fontana with 155k on the clock. nitto drags too.
