The stock gaskets are steel. Either with work just fine. I used the supplied gaskets with my bbk headers with no problems.

Hey soul tkr I have read your threads about your bbk headers and install and am very impressed as I am in the market for headers. How are they holding up and what kind of gains did you get? I was gonna get hookers but these bbks seem to be a good choice. How was the y-pipe install also? Thanx, nice car by the way.

Hey man.... they are holding up great

Your really can't beat the price for the package deal of both the headers and ORY... not to mention they are ceramic coated which by the way STILL looks great and no discoloration!

As far as the fitment, I have no complaints... no banging (I do have poly motor mounts) and fitment/clearance is great... I am lowered about 2" and as long as i go slow over speed bumps i'm fine... I didn't personally install them but was told the install with them went quite well.

let me know if you have anymore questions... there's a few other guys on here that have installed them, hopefully they'll chime in and let you know how they liked them as well

I've been working on mine little by little after work. The passenger side header went in real easy. I'm going to try the driver side tomorrow. It almost looks like you can drop it in from the top. lol if only it would fit that way.

Wow the drivers side header took about 20 seconds to go in, no joke it was that fast. The passenger side was also very quick they both went in on the first try.
