Default Mounting LM1 Meter

How are you guys mounting your LM1 wideband meters? I want to mount it in a good place to read it, and the only spot that's really good is on the passenger side, on the curved part of the dash so it's still facing straight.

I tried using velcro there, but it just peeled off the dash after a day in the sun. Where are you guys putting yours? Pics would be great, too!

Thanks!

I have seen a guy with a Corvette who had one mounted in a windshield suction cup style. I do not know how or where he got it. I think it looks bulky. I stuffed it under the seat and got a gauge pod.

Hmm, I was thinking about making a little bracket for it some how..

It is kinda bulky, but I'm going to use it to monitor/log so I need it out. I will get different guages for monitoring things other than AFR.

You can buy the mount from about any place that sells Innovate stuff. Kinda high, I think it was around $50. Thing that turns me off about it is it mounts on the windshield; but you have: o2 cable, power cable and output wires all running up to it. Gets real cluttered real quick.

It dumps out analog voltage, you can just get a small gauge from moates and then it dont need to be mounted and you have a small screen you can velcro anywhere.

I argee with you. Plus the power connector on my LM1 slips out many times unless I have part of it looped back around and rubber banded to the LM1.

If I ever put my LM1 in their craddle I would have to constantly plug it back in.

Agreed. Works great; but major pain in the butt to use.

Hmm.. That is all they have to mount it? That sucks... I'm going to see if I can maybe make something up to mount it elsewhere this weekend..

Might sound kinda crude but in my Trans am it is zip tied to the middle round air vent right above the radio. Perfect place for keeping an eye on it, but it is bulky. Accents the toggles switches and arming switches thru the console pretty well. haha
